I'm actually home. I haven't been home for quite a while now. Technically it's only been a day, and though I've had more days of stay before, the time spent today is my truest to 'being home'.
I woke up at 7am, to the sound of my sister's curses. No one woke her up early for her OrSem. I gave her wonderful support by saying, "Hala, you're late. You're screwed." I'm a great sister that way. I think she tsk-ed.
I slept again, then woke up at around 11am because my neck started to burn. I started to rash up, probably because of yesterday's wilderness action. I ended up drowning in the shower because even water didn't have an effect on my consciousness. So yeah, I slept some more.
It was only after four hours that I decided to greet the world again. Under a Downy-laundered comforter, and with only a giant t-shirt as sleepwear, I thought that I should give our aging airconditioner a pat because it made a lot of extra effort to beat the unbelievable heat. I had the best sleep ever!
The day went on with bath #2, hours of television, an attempt to watch "Letters from Iwo Jima" and internet. I dropped the DVD attempt because I couldn't use the net while reading subtitles. I made popcorn and pasta. I had bath #3. I downloaded tons of songs. I had no agenda.
Of course, in the latter part of the day some text messages piled up, reminding me of responsibilities for the coming days.
I don't care. Today I'm home. I'm home. My mother just gave me a lot of nagging during dinner. Who cares? I'm home.

It's only been two days here in the South and I'm super missing Katipunan already. It feels so different to be walking around five or so rooms instead of just two. It's weird climbing up stairs instead of just pushing elevator buttons. My bed doesn't feel like my bed at all. I miss the bunk bed in the condo, even though it's crooked due to an accident from way back. It's weird being here.
I have a lot in mind. There are too many things to think about. There's the ANI thing which I'm uber pressured with. I'll be holding a garage sale 'cause I'm broke. I have to fix the logistics for that. My room's a mess-- I still have to fix all my school files. (It's a post-school year thing.) I have to figure out how to restart files I lost because my laptop was reformatted. (My God, the tech manual! I lost that too.) I'm trying to figure out how to earn earn earn because I want to somehow support myself during my fifth year in school. And of course the road trip next week which seems to need a lot more planning due to different circumstances. I will do everything that I can to make sure that trip pushes through. I'm skipping Bangkok for that, so I really hope all goes well.
I think all these are minor but I'm having a hard time concentrating on them especially since I found a box filled with season episodes of Lost, Grey's Anatomy, House, Rome and many more. I'm finally updating myself with the television world. I haven't done that since early last summer.
I miss Katipunan! I think mainly because it's the whole Holy Week thing and my mom's claws have me gripped tight with all the religious practices that she insists on following. Last year I was able to escape this because I was on a trip. Now I have no excuse. I try to lock myself up in the attic to get a sense of being alone as if in the condo. But that kinda failed me since I have to go downstairs to use the bathroom and to get water from the kitchen. Hence, I'm surrounded by so many people.
Hay nako my mom just woke up and she's nagging again. I think I shall retreat now. Good night. Save me.

Mon is such an intelligent being. She just lost 300 bucks and the printer software. So now she's waiting for the friggin' software/driver/whatever to download since she cannot afford to print her 14-page blah-filled paper on Foucault, which by the way could determine her graduation status. She's so tired. She's a walking eyebag. And she just can't believe that she has to endure a 7-hour class presentation for Fr. David in a little while most of the seniors will sleep and be merry.
Oh it seems that she has a growing zit too. Wee.
Mooooooon. Wake up!

Still alive!
Anyway, just wanted to share that the president was in Burgundy a while ago. At least I think it was GMA. There were kick-ass motorbikes and cars with wang-wangs and an ambulance, plus a BMW with a "1" plate number. Hehehe.
It's such a relief to be studying at an early time. Usually at this time, I'm still recuperating from rehearsals/a show, or rather eating dinner. Skipping meals is bad! Learned that the hard way. I had ulcer last week and it was friggin' painful. I ended up cutting a Fr. David class. Booness. Now I have no choice but to take the final orals (his deal in class: perfect attendance is equivalent to an exemption from the orals). Ho-hum. Life ain't fair. But then if it was fair, it wouldn't be intereseting.
Aba. Such words.
Anyway, I shall go back to Foucault's "Discipline and Punishment". Tata once again! I can't wait 'til school's over.

Argh you time! Can you please slow down?! I still have a million and one things to do and yet and yet and yet I can't seem to get them all done. Dear lovely time, stop doing Olympic laps and and and just... stop!
I haven't slept yet. We ended rehearsals at around 930 last night. It was nearing 11 when I reached the house. Downloaded songs galore for one of things I'm working on. Fixed Mom's surprise. Researched a bit a.k.a. poster studies. Shook the house at 3am to prepare-slash-cook for Mom and Dad's arrival from the airport. Surprised Mom (Happy Birthday, Maw!) by 5am. Cooked a bit more because we ran out of scrambled eggs. Right now I'm still downloading songs. And I still have 3 items on my things-to-do list which I have yet to start on. Plus we'll be leaving at around 1030 since it's my brother's reg. Then I have rehearsals from 2-10pm. And and and and... Good God, how the hell will I survive without sleep? I could probably survive classes without sleep but definitely not rehearsals. And we're doing act 2. It's more, umm, exhausting.
And I tried to fix my schedule... but the damn site is down. I guess I'll have to do the squeeze to get to the boards in the hallways. Squeeze power!
I feel mental right now. And ethnic. Ethnic? Been downloading Joey Ayala, Grace Nono, Pinikpikan songs galore. Salidumay, Jake! Kasalanan mo 'to. Speaking of...

Hehe, I missed that. Oh the SRU days. I don't remember much of the gun tricks anymore. Anyway, I just thought I'd update a bit. Alive and kicking nga, pero barely.
In fairness hindi ako huli sa balita sa basketball. Actually I only got to watch the last quarter. Had lock myself up in the attic for you-know-what. If my dad hadn't called me for something, I wouldn't have bothered to check the game out. It's a darn good thing he wanted to scold me for my bills (again).
My gulay, that was some game! I had my hands pulling my hair the entire last few minutes. Pero nakakainis 'cause after UST's last shot, I walked out of the room and started eating dinner. Hindi ko nakayanan, I thought it was over. But no! A few seconds later I heard my brother and dad shouting their lungs out and potah, I missed THE Kramer shot and that just totally killed me. Nakakabaliw. Pero oh well, saw the replay and my gulay. Ibang klase. A brilliant play. Exciting. I haven't been paying attention to bball this season but at least I didn't miss that. At least diba?
That sort of made me feel great. Or maybe not. We still have to finish you-know-what. It's driving me nuts. Although I've been listeneing to Tchaikovsky's 1812 Overture almost the entire day and that's sort of helping. End now, will you? It's sad that I'm getting sick of my thesis. I'm sorry! It's just that I want to focus on other stuff too! Like my set design! God, I can't wait 'till I can work on my model again. Naeexcite pa naman na ako dun.

Nasa bahay ako sa South. Napilitan. Exag na talaga ang sakit ko. And for that hindi ako nakaabot sa set design class kanina and I'm so depressed. Sinubukan ko talagang tapusin yung model pero hindi na talaga kinayanan ng powers ko. Tapos hindi pa ako nakapunta sa rehearsals. At bukas hindi rin dahil ngayon palang may threats na ang tatay ko kung subukan kong pumunta nang school. Depressed ako.
Tapos patay na pala si Steve Irwin! I'm so affected. I've been watching his show every summer for the past 4 years. 4 years ba? Basta matagaltagal na. I love love him. I actually shed a few tears when I saw the news on tv. I'm going to miss him.
Shit. So many things to do! I may have made a bad decision of going home. I'm stuck. But at the same time I guess I needed to. Nahihiya naman ako sa roommates ko. They might end up sick too.
In fairness I miss being this sick. I finally got my congee. Been whining about that to Evi since this afternoon. And! Hanep na sa bahay. There's another computer, another printer, and wireless internet! Unfair. Sana extended ang love ni Daddy sa Katipunan.
Anyway, medicine break. Then work work work. Thank God for the wireless net. Mom said that I should be in bed tonight. No work. I'm in bed alright. With a laptop nga lang. Hehe.

Hay nako. So our "Anarkista" RMT run has ended already and now I'm... bored. Since Monday I've done nothing but whatever.
Impromptu inuman at Bengbeng's Monday.
Hang out in Cantina with BJ plus "Kapag Ang Palay Naging Bigas, May Bumayo" Tuesday.
Blockmates inuman Wednesday.
"Tulad ng Dati" plus a bit of Cantina again Thursday.
In short, I've been drinking since Monday. Since it's the cast party on Saturday (meaning more booze), might as well find drinking buddies on Friday. Oh that's today. Hello health, kamusta naman diyan.
It's amazing that I'm still on track with my school work. Except maybe thesis. But we're working tomorrow! Oh and set design. My God, floor plan plus visual research galore plus presentation next week. Ay ang liquidation stuff for props too. But I've started! Hahaha. So I'm slightly off track. But I'm bored! I really don't like it when we're between productions. I get so bored!

Got to watch "Tulad ng Dati" a while ago. Not bad. Ping Medina is hari. He is love. Now I feel like listening to The Dawn but sadly I don't have the laptop so I've no source of music. Boo. Living away can sometimes be a hastle. But I love it anyway. Ratbunitata! Haha. It's so much fun saying that out loud.

Sadness. I was looking forward to get back to Katipunan. I miss it already. I don't know why but here at home I feel as if I'm stuck in a void. I laze and eat as if there's no tomorrow. I do like being with the family. Though sometimes they're too caught up in their own lives. So much so that I end up alone in my attic with nothing else to do but ponder. Not a good thing since I end up in trouble when I do that. I think I think too much. But in a way I'm grateful to be home. At least I don't have to spend too much on internet. Oh and I get to use our ancient drafting table. I love it so much. I spent a bit of the afternoon working on my set design homework. I probably would have had more fun if my thesis ghost wasn't bugging me the entire time. In fairness I'm quite enjoying our thesis topic. I hope Sarah feels the same.
It's a good thing we have pick-ups tomorrow at 2. Yay! I get to hangout with friends! I'm excited to get back to Katipunan. I get more work done when I'm there. Look at me now, being all weird and typing her feelings instead of how exclusively breastfeeding a child can save him/her from deadly diseases he/she can easily acquire at his/her age. Thesis topic. So much fun can I just say! So remember to breastfeed you babies. So many slashes. I'm zonked out. And hormones are kicking in. God Save the Queen (Mon). Ahshaddap.
